Islamic School in Nashville Based on the Quran and Sunnah

Dar Al-Quran Wa-Sunnah Institute is a nonprofit Islamic school in Nashville, Tennessee, offering authentic Islamic education based on the Quran and Sunnah. Our programs combine Quran memorization, Arabic language, and character development with a strong K–12 academic curriculum to help students grow in both faith and knowledge. We serve families who value a balanced education that nurtures spiritual, moral, and academic excellence. With a Quran- and Sunnah-centered approach, we prepare students to succeed academically while living by Islamic values of discipline, respect, and leadership in their daily lives.

Dar Al-Quran Wa-Sunnah Institute is a nonprofit religious and educational organization. Its objective is to provide authentic Islamic education, promote knowledge based on the Quran and Sunnah, and foster both moral and academic excellence from kindergarten through 12th grade.

We welcome students who are committed to academic excellence and Islamic character development.

Enrollment & Consultation

Children must be 5 years or older. Parents must complete the Dugsi application and consult with the Director before enrollment or making any changes.

Attendance & Timing

Parents must ensure timely arrival and pickup.
Weekend class: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Afternoon class: 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM.
Late pickups may result in disciplinary action.

Dress & Discipline

Students must come in Islamic attire (boys: khamees, girls: hijab).
No extreme haircuts or misuse of cell phones during class or prayer.

Attendance & Academic Responsibility

Parents must inform the Center if their child cannot attend.
Repeated absences or incomplete homework can lead to suspension or termination.

Parental Commitment & Conduct

Parents must pay fees on time, attend meetings, and take responsibility for their child’s belongings and behavior.
Disrespecting school policies may result in loss of privileges.

We offer flexible Islamic education programs, including full-time and part-time Tahfidh options tailored to your family’s needs.
